WHO HAS...
"In the Last Days," God says, "I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people: And whoever calls out for help to me, God, will be saved." Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away; whomever, in fact, our Master God invites (Acts 2) [MSG].
The Spirit of God would never prompt anyone to say, "Jesus be damned!" Nor would anyone be inclined to say, "Jesus is Master!" without the insight of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12) [MSG]. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of the Anointed living within does not belong to God. If the Anointed One lives within you, even though the body is as good as dead because of the effects of sin, the Spirit is infusing you with life now that you are right with God. If the Spirit of the One who resurrected Jesus from the dead lives inside of you, then you can be sure that He who raised Him will cast the light of life into your mortal bodies through the life-giving power of the Spirit residng in you (Romans 8) [VOICE].
got the Holy
Spirit ???
It is obvious what kind of life develops out of trying to get your own way all the time: repetitive, loveless, cheap sex; a stinking accumulation of mental and emotional garbage; frenzied and joyless grabs for happiness; trinket gods; magic-show religion; paranoid loneliness; cutthroat competition; all-consuming-yet-never-satisfied wants; a brutal temper; an impotence to love or be loved; divided homes and dividedlives; small-minjded and lopsided pursuits; the vicious habit of depersonalizing everyone into a rival; uncontrolled and uncontrollable addictions; ugly parodies of community. I could go on. But what happens when we live God's way? Affection for others; exuberance about life; serenity; a willingness to stick with things; a sense of compassion in the heart; conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people; involved in loyal commitments; no needing to force our way in life; able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Live freely, animated and motivated by God's Spirit (Galatians 5) [MSG].
